What Does “Sublimation and DTF Ready PNG” Mean?
A print-ready PNG is more than a colorful image. It should be prepared for the size and printing method you plan to use.
- Transparent background: the artwork should not contain an unwanted white rectangle around the design.
- 300 DPI at final print size: check the effective resolution after you resize the file, not only the number shown in the file properties.
- Clean edges: inspect small text, thin lines, and semi-transparent shadows before sending the file to print.
- PNG format: PNG preserves transparency better than a flattened JPEG for most transfer workflows.
Sublimation vs. DTF: which process should you use?
Sublimation works best on white or light polyester garments and polymer-coated blanks such as mugs and tumblers. The design becomes part of the coating or fibers, so the blank and its color matter.
DTF is more flexible for cotton, dark garments, and mixed fabrics because the design is printed onto film and transferred with adhesive. Follow your transfer supplier’s instructions for white ink, mirroring, and pressing.

Download and Usage Notes
These are digital PNG files; no physical shirt, mug, transfer, or other product is shipped. Confirm the license for the individual design before commercial use, and do not resell or redistribute the PNG as a standalone file.
For non-polyester projects, see our guide to sublimating on different materials. If you are coating wood or another hard surface, review how to use polycrylic for sublimation before pressing.
